The New Mix Is Up
I really want to like straight-ahead rock music, so I try to listen to as much new stuff in that vein as I can. I’ll take your word that this is some of the best new rock music out there, but for me, only three songs appealed to me in the least (Mastodon, Beck and Doug Martsch). The rest was practically unlistenable–well OK, Röyksopp is a guilty pleasure.
