Laura returned from her Mexico City business trip with COVID. This is her second time. She’s isolating in our bedroom, just as she did the first time. Windows open. Air filters turned up. Good luck finding COVID tests in Los Angeles. Shelves are empty.
Sometimes I can’t believe that we share air with Paul McCartney. I don’t mean that in a creepy way, but more just absolute and profound amazement. I was listening to Blackbird from the One Hand Clapping Sessions when this thought occurred to me.
Took the kids to see Inside Out 2, which was great. It was the first good Pixar film in years.
tinyPod is pretty cute. Might have to get one.
I like seeing Ghost deliver on promises. I’m definitely cheering them on.
Nothing continues to impress, even at the low end. They’re playing a different game than most others and it’s awesome.
As we were driving back from the parade in Carbondale, CO, we spotted an American Bald Eagle. It was pretty far away, but I was still able to snap a photo. Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans 🇺🇸
