Matt made a clock called Poem/1 and it’s really lovely. He’s funding it over on the ole Kickstarter. I recommend you at least look at the work, even if you don’t plan to fund it.

I’ve been a long-time IFTTT user and have been on their “forever” grandfathered Legacy Pro Plan, but wouldn’t you know… forever isn’t actually forever after all. I plan to cancel my subscription and hope many others do as well. While I don’t have anything mission-critical using IFTTT, it’s definitely annoying to have to look for alternatives.
Om doesn’t like Spotify anymore. I’m so sick of Daniel moaning and groaning about Apple. And to be clear, Apple isn’t doing itself any favors with its App Store tax. I definitely want to extract myself from Spotify and have been doing so bit by bit, but there are some playlists I will miss dearly. And I have many years’ worth of playlists on Spotify that make the cost of switching high for me.

My 11yo daughter begged (yes, really) me for “a Stanley”. It was maybe the first time that one of my children mentioned something to me, and I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about.
I had to read Yancey’s latest post a couple of times just to take it all in. It’s a good one. 2024, here we come.
I had all but forgotten about Ello until I read Andy’s post about its quiet death. A bummer on so many levels.
I love it when people share links to The Red Hand Files with me. A friend sent me this one this morning, as I was making coffee.
R.I.P. Pitchfork. End of an era. Bring on the next one.
