I installed Dumbify to give my iPhone more of a Light Phone vibe. The way apps launch bothers me, but other than that I like it.

The IS broke on my Olympus E-PL5 so I upgraded and bought myself a Fujifilm X-T5 with the 16-80mm lens and also got the 35mm f/1.4 lens as well, which I imagine I’ll use much more often. It’s my first Fujifilm camera. Excited!
I saw an unbelievable show tonight — Kraftwerk performing Radio-Activity in its entirety at Disney Hall. Of course they played some hits after the album. The production was fantastic! Such a great show. I had seen them a couple of times other times before, but this was the best for sure.

And holy hell is the website beautiful 😍
You know… Just in case you want the uncluttered Google experience.
The whole Scarlett Johansson thing is really disappointing. How difficult would it have been for OpenAI to just go a different direction? Seems like they had a plan B from the beginning and it was ultimately to rip her off. Call it whatever you want. Sam is showing us exactly how he will do things.
I don’t spend much time on Instagram anymore. I deleted all of my posts along with my avatar some time ago, but still have an account and enjoy scrolling through things once a week or so. Questlove consistently posts great things and last week he posted what is, I think, one of the best Instagram posts ever from some dude who calls himself show_bits. He has some other posts as well. For instance, Thom Yorke trying to remember where he parked made me laugh pretty hard.
Gary Hustwit is streaming his amazing Dieter Rams documentary, “Rams” for free today (May 20) and tomorrow.
I continue to be baffled by people’s love of Notion. It’s one of the worst pieces of software to achieve the popularity it has, maybe ever.
