Matt Haughey moved his site from WordPress to Ghost. I started doing the same a few months back, but chickened out when it became clear that importing 20+ years of posts was going to take some technical skills that I didn’t have, but I would definitely like to do it.
Rest In Power 😔
I love Seth’s notion of niching up. It connects nicely to another great (and much longer) read about extreme brainstorming.

Looking forward to a cup of spite at Latte Larry’s this weekend.
Matt made a clock called Poem/1 and it’s really lovely. He’s funding it over on the ole Kickstarter. I recommend you at least look at the work, even if you don’t plan to fund it.
I’ve been a long-time IFTTT user and have been on their “forever” grandfathered Legacy Pro Plan, but wouldn’t you know… forever isn’t actually forever after all. I plan to cancel my subscription and hope many others do as well. While I don’t have anything mission-critical using IFTTT, it’s definitely annoying to have to look for alternatives.
Om doesn’t like Spotify anymore. I’m so sick of Daniel moaning and groaning about Apple. And to be clear, Apple isn’t doing itself any favors with its App Store tax. I definitely want to extract myself from Spotify and have been doing so bit by bit, but there are some playlists I will miss dearly. And I have many years’ worth of playlists on Spotify that make the cost of switching high for me.
This is kinda fun, but is this it?
Day One launching shared journals for up to 30 people seems really cool. I need to think more about it, but it could redefine what a microblog is.
My 11yo daughter begged (yes, really) me for “a Stanley”. It was maybe the first time that one of my children mentioned something to me, and I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about.
