The first thing that came to mind when I saw that a tick bite could make people allergic to red meat was that maybe with that kind of incentive, the meat industry will fund the science to create a treatment or vaccine. My next thought was, ‘maybe a red meat allergy is what humanity needs.’

Been going to bed so late lately, which means I’m not getting enough sleep. Gotta get back on track. I have no sleep issues, thankfully. I just love the quiet of the later evening hours. I like the early morning too, sometimes even more, but it’s just easier to stay up later.
